Pros
- Triple Throw with Shadow Partner delivers excellent single-target DPS
- Flash Jump provides the best mobility of any Cygnus Knight class

- Haste boosts movement and jump speed for the entire party
- Vanish provides a temporary invincibility option for dangerous situations
Cons
- Throwing stars are expensive to fund — high-quality stars cost significant mesos
- Level 120 cap limits progression compared to Explorer Assassins/Hermits
- Low HP makes survival difficult without careful positioning
- Venom damage over time is less impactful at higher levels
- Star consumption can be an issue before getting Shadow Stars or similar skills

Lv. 1-10
Put all AP into LUK. Early claw requirements need almost no DEX.
Lv. 10-30
Pure LUK. Your damage and avoidability both scale from LUK, making it doubly valuable.
Lv. 30-70
Continue pure LUK. Critical Throw passive makes every point of LUK count more.
Lv. 70-100
All LUK. Shadow Partner effectively doubles your Triple Throw damage, and it all scales from LUK.
Lv. 100-120
Pure LUK to cap. Max out your assassin damage for endgame content.

Max your 1st job throwing star attack skill immediately
Put points into Nimble Body or equivalent agility passive
Max Keen Eyes for throwing star range
Use Ereve quest reward equipment and buy cheap throwing stars
Rush through to 2nd job — Night Walkers improve dramatically at 30
2nd Job Night Walker II Lv. 30-70
Put 1 point into Flash Jump (14101004) immediately for mobility
Max Claw Mastery (14100000) first for stable damage
Max Critical Throw (14100001) for the critical strike chance boost
Max Claw Booster (14101002) for faster attack speed
Max Haste (14101003) for movement and jump speed
Max Flash Jump (14101004) for full distance jumping
Put points into Vanish (14100005) for emergency invincibility
Finish with Vampire (14101006) for HP sustain while training
3rd Job Night Walker III Lv. 70-120
Put 1 point into Triple Throw (14111005) and Shadow Partner (14111000) immediately
Max Shadow Partner (14111000) first — it doubles all your attack output
Max Triple Throw (14111005) — your primary damage skill for everything
Max Venom (14110004) for damage over time on bosses
Put points into Alchemist (14110003) for better potion efficiency
Max Avenger (14111002) for AoE mobbing situations
Put points into Shadow Web (14111001) for boss utility

- Shadow Partner should ALWAYS be active — it essentially doubles your DPS at no star cost
- Flash Jump is your best friend — use it to reposition constantly and avoid damage
- Invest in good throwing stars early — Steelys or Ilbis make a massive difference in training speed
- Use Haste before every training session to boost your party's speed and your own mobility
- Vanish can save your life against bosses — use it to dodge one-hit-kill attacks when timed correctly
