Shinsoo told me the lady in front is actually Eleanor the Black Witch and that she has put a curse on everyone in Ereve. He mentioned that most of them on the island should be able to weather it, but the Empress might be in grave danger... I better defeat Black Witch and break the curse now!

The cunning Black Witch, after realizing that Ereve, which is protected by Shinsoo, may be hard to enter, used Dunamis to throw in cursed items, then cursed the whole island through that! Fortunately, after defeating Black Witch, the curse seems to have been lifted.
