He tells you that the Black Wings are an organization conspiring to resurrect the Black Mage and says that this information must be relayed to Lilin as well, so he wants you to let Lilin know about the situation. In the mean time, Tru plans on utilizing his network as an Information Dealer to gather as much information on the Black Wings as possible.

Lilin thought that the fact that an organization like the Black Wings even exists...means that the Black Mage's resurrection is imminent. She encouraged you to train that much harder to regain your old, heroic form. She then taught you a skill called Polearm Booster which she she learned by poring over an ancient document!
