I received the Mithril Wristband from Eurek the Alchemist. Should I be givng this braclet to Carta? But I desperately need the will power....

When I give the bracelet to Carta, she gave me Firm Hand. Now I got the will power back, but do I need to worry about Carta? I think Eurek the Alchemist might've put some secret device on the braclet...that makes me feel a lil better
